I am already Certified, What about me?
Advanced Certifications
Open Water Certification has sometimes been referred to as “A License to Learn”. The
average number of dives that people do worldwide after they are certified is “ONE”! It
is tough to become proficient and really comfortable in the water when you only do it
once a year. ScubaFy Dive Center is unique in that we actually WANT the students we
certify and their families to come dive with us after they are certified.
Even if we are going with students, there is no reason why you cant come along and
“USE THE SAME LAKE OR OCEAN!”
ScubaFy Dive Center is a Career Development Center and an Instructor Training Facility.
We offer classes all the way from Open Water all the way up to Instructor. Unlike other
shops, we can certify you AND present you with your Instructor Certification once
earned. You do not need to go several other places for tests and evaluations.
ScubaFy Dive Center classes are taught or directly supervised by Charlie Franks, an
Instructor Trainer Evaluator and Regional Training Director, the highest level you can
obtain with a training agency. Charlie has trained hundreds of divers and Instructors
around the country. He believes in “complete in-person education”, requiring in-person
classroom sessions during the class and not just online training.
Some of the other courses we offer are:
Advanced Open Water Certification - (a Great Refresher too!)
Our Advanced Open Water Certification Course is uique in that it actually attempts to
make you an “ADVANCED DIVER”. During the course we take you back over all of the
things you SHOULD HAVE LEARNED during Open Water and then we build on that
knowledge and add classes on Advance Subjects as well, and then the opportunity to
learn about and perform more challenging types of dives. Even if you have been Open
Water certified for many years the class can benefit you.
It is also a great alternative to a “Refresher” Class, as you not only get refreshed, but
you also gain the additional training as well. The course includes several classroom
sessions and several Advanced Dives.
